MyPosti
The opportunity
Posti app is one of the cornerstones of Posti’s digital business, but was in need of an overhaul. Their vision was to become a modern delivery and fulfilment company, with its OmaPosti (MyPosti) service allowing customers to manage letters, bills, e-voices, packages, tracking, returns and payments directly from one convenient place – within an app.
Qvik's role
We were already in partnership with Posti across a range of key projects. First coming onboard with the OmaPosti Payment Gateway soon after its initial release in 2017, and collaborating closely on the OneAccount. The trust and cooperation was in place and set to continue.
The solution
We worked with Posti to prioritise customer-centricity as one of four key pillars for its updated strategy. Using Qvik’s expertise in UX & UI Design, backend and frontend development and continuous support services, we redesigned the user interface and developed the new app.
The outcome
Service improvements were quickly reflected in both user numbers and ratings. OmaPosti’s App store rating went from 1.8 to 4.4 stars. Monthly users increased to 904K. The update unified the look & feel of Posti’s digital services and enabled a truly personalised service with all payment-related functionalities harmonised for every user. This seamless OmaPosti digital platform opened up a number of new business opportunities for Posti, and the app also won the top prize in the World Post and Parcel Award 2020.
