Koenigsegg

New web shop for Koenigsegg

When the Swedish sports car giant Koenigsegg had updated its website, the web shop also needed a boost. Here, the brand's devoted supporters can find clothing, collectibles and scale miniatures of their own sports cars. As part of updating its online presence, it was now time for the web shop and that's where our collaboration began. Our mission was to build a new e-commerce that felt like a natural extension of the website.

Design

When the webshop was designed, it had two clear requirements. It would start from the graphic profile and bring forward inspiration from the main site. Our designer worked closely with Koenigsegg's creative team to produce a design that exuded confidence and luxury to reflect the exclusive brand.

"Our collaboration got off to a brilliant start with a visit to the factory in Ängelholm."

Development

Once the design was complete, it was built in WordPress with WooCommerce as the e-commerce solution. We created a custom theme to take full advantage of the WooCommerce's features, but still have a unique design that fully represents the Koenigsegg brand. In this way, the result was a reliable e-commerce that is also one of a kind.

"The Qvikies fit in so well, I can hardly tell them apart from our in-house team any more. They are so deeply involved with our work that I don’t even think about them as consultants any more. Our cooperation has been fantastic all round."

“We know the banking business, but Qvik’s fresh perspective and knowledge of other industries was valuable. It takes class and skill to create a smooth user experience that combines the financial sector’s regulatory requirements with a clear and simple customer experience. This was precisely what we were able to achieve together with Qvik.”
